"In 1957, Cosimo Lucchese designed an intricate pair of cowboy boots for humanitarian and Academy Award winner Gregory Peck, star of Roman Holiday and To Kill A Mockingbird. The actor, who earned a position on the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame in 1983, went on to place many orders with Lucchese for Jodhpurs and a variety of shoes. In 2013, Lucchese designers had the honor of recreating the 1957 boot, now called Peck, as part of the Lucchese Legends series. Handmade in Texas."
